I physically went into the gym on the 3rd day after joining to cancel my membership as allowed by the contract I signed. I told them I wanted to cancel. I was told I needed to speak to Ernest Hayes, and he would be in at 11am. nI called at 11 am and spoke to Ernest Hayes, I told him I wanted to cancel my membership and asked exactly what I needed to do. He asked me my name and phone number and said he would take care of it and I would see a refund on my debit card within a week to ten days. nLater that afternoon I wanted some proof that the cancellation had taken place so I called and spoke to Ernest Hayes again and asked for something in writing or a confirmation number to show proof of the cancellation. He said he did not have anything to give me. I knew then and there that I was getting the run around. nI have called the corporate office several times and I am told my membership is cancelled finally but I would have to speak to the district manager, Kevin Long, to get my refund. They said he would call me which never happend. I know I will never see my refund and they are evading and lying to avoid my right to a timely cancellation and refund.
