Action Imports Repair, Inc. St. Petersburg Florida

Complaint: Action Imports, 2931 4th Street North, St. Petersburg, Fl just changed my oil for $300 +! Rip-off Artists. THEY LIED about services performed when quoted price over the phone (they had my car). Rene’, owner, offered $80 refund and a re-write of new bill of sale. I refused. I paid $754 for an $83 auto part which internet says takes 15 minutes to snap in and had my oil changed. Since my car was left-off there upon his request, I spoke twice, by phone, to assure that the LCD light on the dashboard was repaired. Rene’ agreed EVERYTHING had been taken care of. When I discovered the LCD light wasn’t done (Rene’ said he thought I meant my tail-light and said he replaced that for free. RIGHT. I returned to the ACTION IMPORTS and told Rene’ this charge was a consumer fraud, he offered a refund of $80 – I refused the $80 because he took my original bill of sale and was “re-writing”” a one and said I would have to “”sign-off””. Maybe because I’m a women I have “”stupid”” across my forehead when I walk into an auto repair shop….but this fraud was blatent to even the “”dummy”” that I am!”
