Complaint: I ordered fiberglass taillights for my 1997 Grand Am on March 21, 2006 from an on-line car parts site (www.aedcentral.com). I was told it would take 4 to 6 weeks for my order to be delivered. I received countless e-mails stating that their were various reasons that I had yet to receive my product. Some of these excuses included a poor economy, death of a family member, and issues with AEDC’s suppliers. These taillights cost around $550. At the time my order was placed AEDC charged my credit card for 50% of the amount and told me that upon shipment the other 50% would be charged. It has been over two years since i placed this order. The company refuses to answer voicemails and e-mails. I was banned from the site because i stated that i was planning on taking legal action against the company. Len has said that he is refusing to deal with individuals that have been banned from the site and that they will eventually get their parts. This company was at one point in time, highly regarded amongst domestic car tuners. However, poor customer service and the inability to deliver products to customers have pretty much ruined this business. I have heard too many excuses and am not going to wait around for “the smoke to clear””. What this company is doing is a crime! I don’t want to see other consumers who work hard for their money be taken advantage of in the future. There are countless other people across the country who are in this situation.
