Complaint: On September 5, 2008 I sent a letter to Auto One Warranty stating my wish to cancel the contract. On september 9, 2008 I received a letter from Auto One tellin me that they received my cancellation letter and that it would take about 10 to 12 weeks to process my refund. But that all was in order. On October 10, 2008 I called Auto One Warranty and I again was told that all was in order, but just to wait for the refund. On October 20, 2008 I again called Auto One Warranty and they told me that it had only been 6 weeks since I notified them that I wanted to cancel my contract with them. On December 15, 2008 I spoke to Kenny, Extension 468 (no one from Auto One will give their last name) and he looked up my record and verified I was to receive a refund of $391.08 issued to my credit card by Friday December 19. I am still waiting for the refund and today is January 8,2009. On December 16, 2008 I sent Auto One a certified letter asking for information on the statue of my refund. I never received a reply to my letter. As of today (January 10,2009), no one from Auto One has respneded to any of my calls or to my letter. My next step is to file a report with the Attorney Gereral’s office of Californa. Anyone who is of victim of the ripoff should do the same and maybe we should start a class action suit.
