Overcharged my insurance company for blood glucose sensors,then my 10 % copay was overcharged because of this.I called them and had an incompetent person help me,after fighting I then called the manufacturer of the sensors and my health insurance company. The insurance company told me to call back better living now and expalin to them that they overcharged them and to re send them a new bill ,and the send me a new bill of what I owe as a copay. I called back spoke with Lisa the manager ,she said they would work on this.Then I tried calling for a week or 2 to speak with her ,but she was not in.Finally I speak with her and I told he I was not going to be available for about 2 weeks but to send the updated bill and whatever they do they better not put this into collection.She said they would not. The insurance company got rebilled again for the same amount inbetween everything happening and of course they denied it,I called Better living now again and explained they rebilled the same amount and the insurance company said it was wrong. I was still waiting for my updated bill,so I could pay what I owe(not one penny more) I have spent over 6 hours fighting and calling them,my insurance company and teh sensor company.If I had no intenetion of payong I mnever would have spent teh time. Arpril 25 I get a new bill,but it does not exactly explain any thing,The amount was for less ,but I did not know if thsi was teh correct amount, I called and spoke with someone at BLN in accounts recieveable ,I asked for Lisa and someone higher up ,and he said he would give them the message.I also asked if this is now the correct bill,he did not know.Never heard from them again,never got another updated bill.Until today I got a call from a collection agency for $173.00 I went crazy on them and said I am still waiting for my updated bill and a phone call back from BLN.They said BLN said tehy sent a new updated bill.Another Lie! They of course did not,i just spent another 45 mins fighting with them on the phone.I told them I had great credit and I want a letter to the collection agency stating this never should have gone to collections,due to BLN’s incompetence this matter,and I want a letter to me with an apolgy for how I was treated and sending this to collections. I now have spent almost 7 hours ,if I was running away from a bill I never would have spent the time on this! I have just sent the check for $173 even though I still do not have a updated bill,and I would never deal with them again,I warn all diabetics or other people wwho have a illness that requires durable equipemet ,to look for another company,because if you have a illness you certainly do not need aggravation from a health supply company! I have become somewhat of an advocate for diabetic supplies over theyears,and thiso ne I warn you to stay away from!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
