On July 30th I had an eye exam and purchases contacts. My exam cost $120 and the contacts $140.00 a total of $260.00. The rebate stated that the reciept must be dated before 7/31. Mine was. I mailed it off the next day to recieve my 40.00 rebate. I attached a copy of the receipts, upc’s and all required materials. I waited my 60 days. When nothing came, i called the 800 number. I was told that i did not send in the upc’s. nI faxed over a copy of my reciepts along with the copy of the attached upc codes. They apologized and said it would be resubmitted and a check sent in 4 weeks. I went online again 4 weeks later, it said i was declined because my form was expired. I called back. nThe gentleman told me It was supoosed to be marked by 7/31 and mine was marked by 7/30. He seemed confused and then told me the rebate was for $30.00. I corrected him. He asked me if I had the company’s rebate codes handy? (What consumer would have that? ) nFrustrated, I said I didn’t care and would take the 30. I was transferred to the original person I spoke to that said, it will always show on the computer as expired, he cannot note my account that he resent the form, but to take his word and call him directly if I do not recieve it. He shouted at me and sais there is a chance I won’t get it and next time I should not buy something just to save a few dolllars. nI will never buy from CIBAVISION AGAIN. nTorinPhiladelphia, PennsylvaniaU.S.A.
