I would like to make a complaint against Cigna Health Insurance Company. I ordered my medication through their home delivery service. When I called them on May 20 2011 they gave me the price $85/ medication. My doctor prescribed 2 medications for me. I gave them my AMEX credit card to charge $170 for the 2 medications and $17 extra for faster shipping, and they gave me a confirmation number 67382527. I had a $250 deductable on medication at that current plan. Now they are trying to charge me $85 for one of the med and $300 for the other one stating I have a $500 deductable. I was suppose to get these medications two weeks ago, when I had my $250 deductable, since my new policy with $500 started only yesterday on 06/01/2011. This company is trying to rip me off. They didnt take my order right away as they promised. They waited and now they are trying to charge me more with my new policy. Now they are turning around and giving me a hard time trying to charge me extra $200. When I called them they were giving me the run around. First they said my doctors office didnt respond until 06/01/2011, and then said Costco pharmacy wasnt transferring the prescription until 06/01/2011. I went to Costco first, but Cigna is not authorizing 3 months supply in Costco, only through their home delivery service. That is the reason I chose to go with them. nWatch out when you get Cigna!!!!!!!
