Complaint: We ordered a replacement unit for our navigation/CD/Radio unitbeginning April 2011 through your parts department. After weeks of patientlywaiting for the part we finally received notice that it had arrived. Mid May2011 your service department installed the unit. While driving for 20 minutesthe CD player stopped playing and the Navigation system stopped working. Weimmediately contacted your service department informing them about the issueswe were having. The service department requested to work on the car again whichmeant we were out of a car for the second day. At the end of the second day theservice department informed us that the unit we purchased was not the correctunit and we needed to purchase an additional item at a cost of $1500(navigation unit). We were never informed that this was necessary when we orderthe replacement unit and we were not willing to pay this amount. Dennisreferred us to Janie from the parts department who initially totally ignoredour call and only after I left her the third voicemail indicating that I wasstill willing to work with her but that I would take further steps if she didnot call me back. Janie called me back the next day offering me the navigationunit at a reduced cost of $500. We are extremely disappointed that we weremisinformed about the unit in general but what concerned us even more is thefact that your service staff also did not know two units were needed and wewere out of a car for two days. We are not willing to spend the additional $500to the $1000 we already spend and we therefore like to have our old unit back. Please respond to us by Friday, June 10, 2011 the latest on how we can get ourold unit back (installed) as you misinformed us about the unit in general.
