About 2.5 years ago, I received a very exciting letter from my Chiropractor. nThe letter said he would soon be adding physical therapy to his successful chiropractic business. He had one problem though; he claimed that he had tens of thousands of dollars already invested in this venture, but needed more money to get started. nHe said since time was of the essence, he was willing to make a very generous offer:n$10,000 = 5% of the incomen$20,000 =10%n$30,000 =15%n$40,000 =20%n$50,000 =25% nThis to me, was a once in a lifetime situation: going in to business with a Dr. who has a booming business already. nHow wrong I was !!! nTo make a long story short, he had a lawyer draw up a simple contract. I then had my lawyer review it. Everything seemed good. Eventually, I gave the chiropractor a substantial amount of money. nWithin 6 months everything fell apart though. First, the physical therapist supposidly quit. Next, the therapist was never replaced. Finally, we just wanted our money back, but he told me he didnt have anything left; it went to overhead nI am still trying to get him to repay me, but he just keeps finding ways to avoid the situation. I am now in a very bad financial mess. He has just about ruined my life!I am convinced that he has taken other peoples money as well nThis con must be stopped & incarcerated as soon as possible before he destroys any more lives. If you have been ripped off by this theif please contact me a.s.a.p. Im sure the prosecutors office would just love hear our stories! nX PatientLnOcean County, New JerseyU.S.A.
