G&T Fiberglass West Palm Beach Florida

Complaint: I purchased a package from this vendon back in May 9, 2007 that included a fiberglass hood, grill inserts, decals, and air box which according to the vendor was $469 for the hood w/decals and grills, $146 for the air box, $110 for shipping and $15 packing fee. I was promised the the package between 2-3 weeks. I did not receive a package until June 13, 2007 which is well over 2-3 weeks. When I received the package it only contained the hood and nothing else. I contacted the vendor in regards to the decals, grills and air box. After about a week a finally got a response saying they were being sent via USPS. I never received them. Finally I had no choice but to dispute the charges with my credit card company after the customer failed to answer his phone, return any calls and respond to any emails. When the credit card company finally pressed him, he contacted me with some sob story on how he was sick and sorry for any inconvenience and offered me either a refund or the remainder of the goods. This was on July 16, 2007. I emailed him back on how quickly could he get me the remainder of the stuff and please respond to me ASAP. No response after three days, I finally told him I had enough of his lousy service and please refund me the air box, the decals, the grills and partial shipping since I paid for a full package that I never received. I have never heard from him again. I contacted him multiple times and he never answers the phone. He doesn’t even have an answering machine. I emailed him to please refund my money or I would contact the BBB of Connecticut. Even still, he never replied. He only responds to my credit card company with a fax of the order which says the undelivered items are backordered however, I don’t see a) how is it that it can be backordered from May to October b) why he never told me this. It doesn’t matter now, he gave me the option for a refund via email on July 16th which I can send to you if needed and I did reply to him to please give me my money back for the items. I am being charged by my credit card company the full $740 for the order and I refuse to pay for anything I don’t have in my posession. I have the hood and nothing else. I don’t have a problem paying my credit card company for that, but not a cent for the remainder of the order. Craig West Palm Beach, FloridaU.S.A.
