Complaint: I kept my appointment as scheduled by the manager(I think his name was Frank) I informed him that I had already inspected the brakes the day before and informed him the van just needed rear shoes and front pads. I noticed the mechanic was working on a car and I saw he had replaced all four rotors, this raced a flag in my mind because the car was a late model Honda Accord. I decided to stay with the mechanic while he inspected my car but the manager went out of his way to get me into the office away from my car. Once again I told him that the car just needed shoes and pads and I also explained to him that I used to be an assistant service manager and that I could do the job myself if it weren’t for my spinal disability. Within three minutes the mechanic entered the office to inform me that my wheel cylinders were leaking and that the van also needed drums, rotors, pads, shoes and wheel cylinders. The manager informed me, that unless I purchased these parts he would not do the job. I told him he was trying to rip me off and asked him to place the tires back on the van. I then went to the auto parts store a few days later, bought the parts and repaired the brakes myself.
