Mills Ford OAKDALE Minnesota

Complaint: I BOUGHT A 2005 (USED) FOR EXPLORER FROM MILLS FORD. BROUGHT IT HOME THAT NIGHT THE NEXT DAY I WENT TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE AND THE TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT WAS ON I IMMEDIATLY CALLED MILLS AND TALKED TO THE SALES PERSON CHRIS ECKOFF AND WAS TOLD TO JUST PUT AIR IN THE TIRES AND IT HAPPENS ALL OF THE TIME FROM JUST SITTING ON THE LOT. I HAD TO CONTINUE TO PUT AIR IN THE TIRES EVERY OTHER DAY DUR TO THE LIGHT CONTINUING TO GO ON. I CALLED MILLS AGAIN AND TALKED TO CHRIS THE SALESPERSON AND SAID THERE HAD TO BE SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE TIRES- I HAD TO PUT AIR IN EVERY TIRE NOT JUST ONE. I THAN BROUGHT THE VEHICLE BACK TO MILLS AND SAID THEY NEED TO CHECK INTO IT.. THEY CHECKED THE CAR AND AT THAT TIME THE LIGHT WAS NOT ON SO “EVERYTHING WAS FINE”” PRETTY MUCH I WAS TRATED LIKE A DUMB FEMALE. I SAID THAT “”EVERYTHING IS FINE IS NOT THE CORRECT ANSWER AND THAT THEY NEEDED TO CHECK FURTHER. IE THE TIRE SEALS

Address: SENSORS NOT JUST TURN ON THE CAR AND IF NO LIGHT THATS IT. SO THEY CHECKED IT AGAIN AND THOUGHT THE SENSOR COULD BE FAILING BUT IT PROBABLY WAS DUE TO THE FACT THAT I PARKED MY CAR IN A GARAGE DURNING THE DAY AND AT NIGHT AND THE TEMPERATURE CHANGE WAS CAUSING THE TIRES TO SLOWLY LEAK. SO THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. 3 TIMES TO THERE SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND STILL NO RESOLUTION. THAN A MONTH LATER I WAS DRIVING HOME FROM WORK ON THE FREEWAY GOING 55 MPH WHEN THE CARS WARNING SYSTEM FLASHED “”LOW OIL PRESSURE-CHECK FUEL CAP”” AND THAT THE CAR’S ENGINE DIED. I HAD A SPLIT SECOND TO GET TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD-EVERYTHING STAYED ON BUT I HAD NO ENGINE POWER. I WAITED 10 MINUTES THE GAGES ON THE DASHBOARD ALL JUMPED AND THE VEHICLE RESTARTED- I WENT STRAIGHT TO A LOCAL VAVOLINE STATION AND HAD THEM CHECK EVERYTHING A DO A COMPLETE OIL CHANGE- NOW THE OIL GAGE SHOWED A 43% OIL LIFE- RESET GAGE CHECK SHOWED ALL SYSTEMS CHECKED OUT FINE. I CALLED MILLS AND THEY ASK ME TO BRING IN THE VEHICLE. SO I DID AND ON THE WAY TO THE GARAGE THE VEHICLE DID THE SAME THING AGAIN ONLY THIS TIME IT WAS RUSH HOUR I WAS GOING 65 MPH AND IT WAS DARK. I CALLED MILLS AND THEY SAID I WAS TO FAR FROM THEM AND TO CALL FORD ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE AND THEY WOULD TAKE ME TO THE CLOSEST FORD DEARLER AND I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THEY WOULD DO ANYTHING. AND AGAIN WAS I WAITED THE GAGES JUMPED AND THE CAR RESTARTED- THIS CONTINUED THE ENTIRE 3.5 HOUR DRIVE ( SHOULD OF BEEN ONLY 2.0)THE CAR ALSO REGISTED EMPTY FOR FUEL(I HAD JUST FILLED THE TANK BEFORE I LEFT) AND NOW A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON– WE I FINAL NURSED THE CAR TO MILLS THEY FOUND THAT THE FUEL SENDOR SWITCH WAS BAD- TWO DAYS LATER THEY FIXED IT

Website: SIGNED PAPERS ON THAT VEHICLE GT IN IT AND THE CHECK TIRE PRESSURE LIGHT WAS ON-NEEDLESS TO SAY DID NOT TAKE THAT VEHICLE. WHY SHOULD ANYONE GO THROUGH THIS FORD AND MILLS SHOULD HAVE TAKEN ALITTLE MORE OF A PROACTIVE PART IN THIS

Phone: I WAS THEN GOING HOME AND THE FUEL LIGHT AGAIN CAME ON (I WAS ONLY 10 MILES AWAY FROM HOME) GOT THE CAR BACK AGAIN- MISSED A DAY FROM WORK DUE TO THE MACHANIC DIDN’T FINISH HOOKING UP ALL THE HOSES. BROUGHT THE CAR HOME AND TWO DAYS LATER THE SAME THING HAPPENS AGAIN- CR DIES ON FREEWAY GOING HOME. THE ONLY THING IS AS I COASTED DOWN THE OFF RAMP THE VEHICLE STOPPED IN FRONT OF A GRAVEYARD–I CALLED MILLS AGAIN AND EXPLAINED THAT THIS VEHICLE IS NOW A HAZARD AND HAS ENDANGERED MY LIFE 1 TO MANY TIMES. I HAVE OWNED THE CAR FOR 4 MONTHS AND IT HAS BEEN IN THEIR SERVICES DEPARTMENT 5-6 TIMES TO MANY. I CALLED FORD AND THE CAR WAS TOWED TO A LOCAL STATION. THEY COULDN’T FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT BUT I COULDN’T THAT THE CHANGE TO CONTINUING TO DRIVE THE DEATH TRAP. MILLS FORD SAID THEY COULD POSSIBLE DO A TRADE BUT IT WOULD COST ME ANOTHER 2
