Complaint: My son ordered the minibike, the company communicated with him that they are having issues getting the bikes into the country which worried me from a credibility standpoint (said they were stuck at the port of entry). After that news I sent an email to the company requesting cancellation of the transaction and a total refund since they had not shipped anything. I also mentioned in the email that he’s only 16 and per CA state law he can’t contract with their company for the purchase of anything. The girl on the phone immediately told me she’s going to pursue charges against my son for identity theft. What???? I said. She said that he obviously used someone else’s card to buy the minibike. I told her that he used his own card and ALL we wanted was a refund for the purchase AND since it hadn’t shipped we were not going to pay ANY restocking fee. She then said that it had already shipped (I don’t believe that for a minute and will drop the claim that she lied if someone can show me a shipping time/date BEFORE 11:10 AM Pacific time on 8 Jun). I guarantee they worked to ship the bike soon after the call to cover their tracks. That’s also a great way to charge restocking fees for merchandise that never shipped/required restocking…..
