I have been a patient of this medical facility for 6 years. I recently pulled my credit report and noticed this facility reported an item to a credit bureau. It first began two years ago in 2008. They sent me to a collection agency for a test that I had taken. I first cancelled due to an illness, though rescheduled. I first spoke with someone from the billing office, who did not seemed to care, in so many words stated, I never phoned the office to cancel and was rude. The following day, I spoke with the billing manager, who did not seem to care. the billling manager stated, he will speak with the VP from the collection agency when he comes in on Friday and get back to me next week. This is incorrect, this should never have been sent to collection as I was never notified by the doctors office nor the collection agency. And I should not be responsible for this item as I phoned the office to cancel and did reschedule.
