Client: Fisher Island Day School: The latest incident: Service man was hear last week left didn”t say a word to anyone had to call Thyssen was told elevator needed oil -oil would be brought in Wednesday, 8/21 – no show – called was told oil had to be ordered on Wednesday afternoon told elevator was fixed on Thursday morning 8/23/18 elevator was not working – need part. Today Friday 8/24/18 we are waiting for a part to come in repair may be on Monday or Tuesday. This is our routine with Thyssen, we have complaint to the manager, the key account manager and no one does anything. The elevator is never working. When we called we explained we had events all week and needed to be able to access the elevator. We are a school books and materials had to be carried up the stairs. Today a laminating machine and a copier had to be carried up the stairs. we cannot get the elevator to work for more than 2 to 3 days per week. We cannot get the serviceman to return when he says he will return and we cannot get the office to help us. What do we do with a relatively new elevator which has not worked since it was installed? Who do we contact because Miami office is not solving our problem. One day your serviceman left said the elevator was fixed and the next day one of our employees was trapped because the elevator broke down as she was in it – we had to call fire rescue to get her out.
