Complaint: I bought an extended auto warranty with U.S. Fidelis in April 2008 because my husband and I bought a used 2001 Oldsmobile which we truly love. We faxed over the supporting documents needed (i.e. oil changes) seven months worth before they would initiate the claim. A claims adjuster stated due to our neglect the company will not approve our claim. Again, we bought the car used in 2006 and the maintainence of the vehicle was kept up every month for oil changes, every six months tune-ups, etc. We explained to the representative when we bought this vehicle but they suggested we pay for the engine repairs and mail them a copy of the repairs completion. After we do that the warranty will then cover anything that may go wrong with our vehicle.
