White’s Automotive Aliquippa Pennsylvania

Complaint: I got my car towed into White’s Automotive because it died on the road. They told me that they would look at it and let me know what the problem was. I told them that I wouldn’t get it fixed if it was very pricey because I was planning on getting a new car that year. They called me and told me it was just the heating core that needed replaced and it needed new plugs. It would run me $305.48. I told them to go ahead and fix it. When I got my car back, I got it home…I live walking distance from the auto shop, so it wasn’t much of a drive. I drove it to work that next morning and it started overheating in the first 5 minutes. I called White’s Automotive when I got to work, and they told me it was probably just an air bubble and to bring it back after I put some water in the coolant receptacle. I got my car back to the auto shop, and it was overheating on the way there as well! They called me up that day and told me it was the head gasket and now I had to pay $1500.00 to get it fixed! They said there was nothing wrong with it the day prior and it was running great, but “sometimes these things just happen””(….despite my complaints that the car was overheating from the time I got it
